MYSTERY OF ASIA

This series presents the Asian response to Orientalism. The Asian culture, often regarded by Westerners as mysterious or enigmatic, is science and a way of life for Asians.

Setting out to discover the true, living Asia, to establish the Asian identity, and to further promote harmony between the East and the West, this documentary attempts to find the meaning of our coexistence by searching for the hidden codes of Asian culture in such diverse areas as clothing, diet, housing, martial arts, etc., and by reinterpreting the common denominator between the East and the West.
